I need your attention for a short moment.

I wanted to say, that our beloved movie had a very important theme. That theme was that you should never give up, even if you have no chance of winning. It was the idea that it is never too late to do the right thing.

And I bring this up because rumors have it that we are not getting anything new for this fandom from Dreamworks.

And you know what I say to that?

WE DON'T THINK SO.

And I believe, as a community, as a fandom, we owe it to one-another to spend some time to contribute to the fandom we all love! We owe it to the many artists at Dreamworks who slaved for years to make this movie as wonderful as possible. We owe it to ourselves. We have the potential, and the numbers, to do something before this fandom inevitably slows down as folks find new things to love. Lets face it, it'll happen... and now may be our LAST CHANCE to light the fire under Dreamworks' ass, and get new content. Our last chance, as a group, to take action, in full force while it's still fresh, our love for it is still strong, and our numbers are many.

And while some may find my idea whiny and selfish, as I have been accused in the past for being loud when something needs to just plain GET DONE, I firmly stand by the idea that to get something done, you must take action-- and I personally refuse to sit and do nothing and look back years from now thinking "Man, if only I had tried, we may have at least gotten another short..."

SO

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO

OHHH YES, I SAID "WE"

WE, [info]megamind_movie, are going to put together a ton of our fanwork, into the form of a book. We are going to get said book onto the desk of someone from Dreamworks. Any suggestions as for which person would be welcome-- Katzenburg? Who would you guys like?

***Letters of Thanks~
--Letters from you guys, the fans. Words or adoration, a story of your experience watching this movie, how it made you feel, if it helped you get through a rough time, if it helped you meet friends, if it taught you a lesson-- whatever. Words of praise, basically! I need one of these from all of you-- no rush, take your time to think about it and PLEASE spell/grammar check! <3 (No word count limit with these, by the way.)

***ANY AND ALL hi-resolution files for Megamind fanart.
--If you want it in this book, zip these files and get them to me. (.psd and .sai files are just fine.) Also, NO SMUT |D

***VERY SHORT FANFICTIONS, NOTHING SMUTTY
--ALTERNATIVELY, sections from very well-written fanfictions of the canon characters. Snippets, whatever. Link me, specifically quote things you loved from said fics. I will contact the authors for permission.

***Photos of swag/creations by you guys!
--Self-explanatory. XD Plushies, tattoos, shirts, etc. Please only include photos of yourself if you are okay with people from Dreamworks seeing your face there, etc. XD
